The province of Uşak serves as a transitional region between Central Anatolia and the Aegean Region, much like its neighboring provinces of Kütahya and Afyon. It is bordered by Şaphane to the north, Murat Mountain to the northeast, and Bulkaz Mountain to the southeast. Murat Mountain, which forms the border between Uşak and Kütahya provinces, has a volcanic structure and hot springs located on its western slopes.
Due to its geographical location, Uşak is situated between the Mediterranean climate and the continental climate of Central Anatolia. Its vegetation reflects this transitional nature. Summers are hot and dry, while winters are milder compared to Central Anatolia, though still characterized by a continental climate. The precipitation brought by clouds from the Aegean Sea distinguishes Uşak’s climate from that of Central Anatolia.
